Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of software development principles, platforms, and best practices.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Self-directed with the ability to handle a wide variety of tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals and teams.
• Strong critical thinking skills, an analytical mind, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and understanding of digital file-sharing.
• Strong aptitude for learning, teaching others and giving efficient presentations.
• Working knowledge of the following software programs: Modern Browsers, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be a self-starter and able to manage multiple task queues.
• Must be able to define tasks and work with other teams to accomplish those tasks.
• Good understanding of website layout and navigation.
• Friendly and positive disposition
• Must possess humility and a drive to improve.

Requirements:

• Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications are a plus.
• Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
• Must pass a background check

Experience:

• Prior experience in Software Testing.
• Prior experience with Agile and Waterfall development processes.
• 1-3 years prior experience in Software Testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in any professional work environment.
• Prior experience with Agile and Waterfall development processes.
• Experience with Software Development tools such as Jira, Trello, Bugzilla, and other Agile/Kanban-style tools.
• Compensation is commensurate with experience.
