Information Technology - ERP Systems Analyst

ERP ANALYST JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for working with ERP Systems Manager and, internal and external, customers to provide functional, production and operational, support and enhancements to business processes, supported by the ERP Department.Analyze customer requirements and assist with writing detailed specifications for solutions. Test, document and introduce new and existing solutions to customers. Maintain internal department standards and processes.Work with external partners to meet customer requirements and specifications.Work with business stakeholders on a daily basis. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Keep informed of changes in the standards, technologies, or methodologies. Assists in implementing and facilitating Android business initiatives Maintain permissions and user access Install and setup supporting apps like Cyberquery, Putty with 32printer, and NetUI Coordinate 3rd party service provider contract renewals Write and maintain Cyberquery reports (consolidation tool) Database administration record corrections user locks mass data loads external application interfaces (BASS, InSequence, Tetra) printer connections and maintenance new production supplier setup preventative maintenance and security Assist in container and part labeling standards Provide QAD application level support, delivering solutions for incident resolution and identifying business process improvement opportunities. Manage expectations with key stakeholders (ERP Manager, customers, program managers, etc.) as to completion and status of the deliverables. Create/recommend system solutions and modifications that increase productivity. Ensure:The solutions leverage the standard configuration settings and that the technical designs are documented.Deliverables meet or exceed functional, technical, and performance requirements.Deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.Take on ownership of the projects and tasks assigned; provide on-call support and duties. Coordinate and help maintain the configuration of QAD ERP modules in multiple instances. Contribute to:The development and implementation of user support and training modules and manuals. Training key users in support of upgrades and enhancements to QAD ERP system. All other duties as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent work experience and technical training. TRAVEL:Travel Required: Yes KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Working Knowledge of: QAD applications and programs, module development, support, configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting to a component level in a manufacturing environment. CIM loading or equivalent, Progress, FTP EDI, Covisint, Cyberquery, Eagle, Red Hat, terminal emulator (Putty), NetUI, Linux, 32Soft applications Knowledge of automotive assembly processes. Knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to support and manage all aspects of a project: design, development, testing, implementation, and support transition. Skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting live software systems. Strong team-oriented, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs. Ability to turn business requirements into a technical solution. Skilled in writing program documentation. Ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence. Self-starter with minimal supervision. Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a high stress level environment.
