POSITION: PROJECT MANAGER
STAFF REQUISITION NO.: SR-21-021
Description of Position:
As the Project Manager you will be the primary resource responsible for assuring software and hardware projects are completed on time, within budget, and assuring quality standards are met. The Project Manager is responsible for scheduling activities involving all parts of the development/design control process in conjunction with the group managers. You will also manage and resolve various conflicts that may arise on projects and ensure that the work is completed as scheduled.
Required Qualifications:
· Manage projects to ensure success as defined by design control standards
· Develop and maintain project plans derived from product requirements and coordination with R&D teams to deliver on project priorities and milestones
· Communicate changes and manage expectations while facilitating the change control process
· Understanding of general system architecture
· Monitor project progress and deliver status reports, timelines, issues, risks and action items to stakeholders and team members
· Run daily/weekly Standup, Sprint Planning, Backlog grooming, and Retrospectives
· Develop and implement changes as necessary to ensure that the project remains within scope, time, and cost
· Maintain and keep current the tools used to manage the project (e.g. Azure DevOps)
· Coordinate release plans and maintain the release schedule ensuring alignment between development and manufacturing
· Drive a collaborative and agile environment that is geared towards delivery, exhibiting strong time management and communication skills, team building skills, and adaptability to changing environments
· Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) models, as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
· Knowledge of Agile frameworks and methods (i.e. Feature Driven Development, Scrum, Kanban) a plus
· Knowledge of Crystal Reports a plus
· Knowledge of refinement, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
· Excellent planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
· Be the R&D representative to the company risk team
Qualifications:
· Technical competency in managing complex technical features across proprietary hardware and firmware
· Ability to set direction, and influence cross-functional teams not under direct management
· Detail oriented, with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion to produce top quality deliverables from start to finish
· Experience managing projects for implantable products
· Demonstrated success in launching products in FDA regulated environments
· Knowledge of FDA, CE regulations for medical devices
· Extensive project leadership experience and strong team building abilities.
· Ability to make data-driven decisions
· Excellent oral/written communication and organization skills
· Six Sigma certification a plus
· Experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps preferred
· Crystal Reports (v2019/2020)
Required Education:
· Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
· Minimum of 4 years of project management experience working with product and engineering teams in a Software and Hardware Product organization
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
