Responsibilities
- Provides attentive and friendly service to customers.
- Takes and fills orders from casino guests, cocktail servers and restaurant servers.
- Mixes proper ingredients using established proportions to prepare cocktails and other beverages.
- Uses proper glassware and garnishes for beverages being prepared.
- Serves wine and draught or bottled beer and serves and refills of non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Communicates menu offerings to guests as applicable.
- Maintains knowledge of drinks, wines and special offers.
- Studies, learns and will be tested on food and beverage menu items including features, specials, beverages and wines.
- Collects payment from guests and returns change in an accurate and timely manner.
- Counts and reconciles cash flow during shift and operates, balances and reconciles cash till and Point of Sale (POS) sales as trained.
- Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies and follows standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing all products
- Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive display.
- Washes and stocks glassware and slices fruits for garnishing beverages.
- Monitors consumption of alcohol by guests.
- Provides service of alcohol within the guidelines set forth by the MAST training program.
- Processes guest coupons, comps, and gift certificates for guests as applicable.
- Ensures all work stations are stocked, neat, clean and sanitary. Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines as applicable.
- Correctly completes all required paperwork per company procedure.

- Communicates any guest complaints, problems or compliments to a supervisor as soon as possible.
- Attends all mandatory department, casino and/or training meetings
- Assist other food and beverage staff as needed.
- Follows all department and casino policies, procedures, and regulations as required.
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
- Ensures control/protection of company assets as applicable.
- Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule and subject to change.
- Provides daily direction to Servers and/or Bar Backs including checking for side work completion.
- Assists with prioritizing side work and station assignments and ensuring that all side work is completed in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Assists with training and scheduling.
- Monitors opening and closing procedures including last call
- Monitors business volume on their shift, allowing early outs and calling in extra staff according to volume as well assisting with arranging coverage on the floor in case of sick calls
- Assists with inventory and ordering.
- Works days, nights, weekends, special events and holidays as needed.

Qualifications
- Exceptional guest service skills required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Certificate from a college or technical/bartending school or one (1) year experience as a Bartender or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Prior experience working in a lounge, bar, tavern or sit down restaurant.
- Prior experience in a casino environment desired.
- Positive, friendly and outgoing attitude required.
- Must be customer service oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to maintain professional, courteous, and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
- Professional and neat appearance required.
- Must be able to lift and move heavy items (such as 180 pound kegs) on a regular basis.
- Prior cash handling experience desired.
- Point of Sales (POS) skills a plus.
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class B gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Health Card (Food Worker Card).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Washington State Mandatory Alcohol Server Training (MAST) Class 12 Mixologist Permit.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Frequently involves carrying, pushing and pulling 40 to 60 pounds. Frequently lifts and/or moves 180 pound kegs. Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift. There are no adverse conditions, but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour, 7 days a week work operation.
