QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
- Maintain a valid State of Texas driver’s license.
- Computer Skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in email creation and transmission.
- Ability to learn additional software.
Preferred:
· Strong organizational and planning skills, accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through.
· Ability to prioritize, implement, and manage multiple projects and due dates.
· Ability to research, analyze and compile data, and produce reports from complex datasets, surveys, and software programs.
· Public speaking skills and experience delivering presentations to large and small groups as well as to individuals.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will report to the Senior Director of Financial Aid & Admissions for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Develop and execute effective recruiting plans to attract students to Angelina College;
· Assist in maintaining a recruiting database and follow-up tracking system;
· Provide consistent and ongoing follow-up with candidates;
· Coordinate implementation of recruitment efforts to target social media channels and monitor the social media landscape to recommend emerging trends, tools, or programs;
· Provide reports as requested;
· Maintain appropriate visitation/communication schedule with area high schools;
· Attend day and evening college and career fairs throughout the college services area and surrounding school districts;
· Organize and participate in on-campus recruiting events;
· Network with professional associations, diversity organizations, leadership institutions, and key agencies to recruit adult/non-traditional students;
· Prepare and present training/information sessions, as well as conference and other public presentations to Angelina College, school districts, and other external constituencies;
· Maintain communication with other AC division members for the purposes of joint outreach/Angelina College connectivity;
· Actively seek other avenues in which outreach may be conducted;
· Maintain or establish communication with community resources for the purpose of outreach;
· Serve the institution by participating on campus committees;
· Contributing to the unit plan of operation to promote continuous improvement and acknowledge relevant regulations;
· Participate in annual professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in support of positions and the College mission;
· Participate in appropriate research to document needs and effectiveness;
· Assist students with admissions, academic advising, assessment, enrollment, and financial aid services;
· Counsel and advise prospective students, families, and the general public as it relates to college policies and procedures, the admissions process, general admissions information, pre-college planning, and career opportunities;
· Communicate with high school and community college counselors and students within the assigned region;
· Responsible for various administrative functions;
· Help support during peak registration periods; and
· Remain current about new programs, program changes, and new implementations at Angelina College.
CONTRACT & SALARY:
$45,000.00 per year, in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
