What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health?
Summary of Position:
Bills as required by respective program for services rendered by agency. This is a remote position
I. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
These include the following: (Other duties may be assigned)
ALL:
o Open mail and distribute it to the individuals that process
o Submit primary claims to appropriate insurances.
o Secondary bill insurance/Medicaid, as invoice patients and infusion companies.
o Work aging reports, pending claims appeals and research underpaid and unpaid claims.
o Call patients and insurance companies as needed regarding invoices and claims.
o Responsible for entire billing process.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
o None.

III. Education and Experience Specifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Some billing experience preferred.

Salary : $15 - $17
