Resident Assistant/Medication Technician

Summary: Our Resident Care Aides and Medication Technicians will work together with the Health and Wellness Coordinator to ensure that resident care goals are being met, including providing personal care services, assistance, support and supervision to all residents.

Education and/or Experience: The ability to read, write, speak clearly and follow written and oral instructions. Must be willing and able to make decisions when responsible for the facility.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must successfully complete and be current in the following: (These licenses / training are the responsibility of the employee and submitting once a year of a copy of training is required for employment)

HIV/AIDS In-Service

Infection Control/Personal Hygiene Training

Alzheimer’s Level I/II

CPR/First Aid Training

Other skills and Abilities: Must be aware and understand the needs of the elderly. Must be able to recognize unusual behavior and changes in physical condition of residents and report those observances to the Health and Wellness Coordinator. Must be thoroughly familiar with all policies and procedures of the facility.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Medication Technician: 1 year (Preferred)
• Resident Care Aide: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• FL Medication Technician Certificate (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Lutz, FL 33548 (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Lutz, FL 33548: Relocate before starting work (Required)
