Maintenance Technician (Industrial)-2nd Shift

We’re looking for a bright, energetic, quality conscious individual to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for performing tasks related to diagnostics, layout, installation, modification and maintenance and repair of a wide variety of complicated electrical and mechanical equipment. Candidates must demonstrate the following for consideration:

• Minimum two years formal study of industrial electricity and machine control, or participation in a vocational apprenticeship program, or equivalent; Additional study of electronics a plus.
• Minimum three to five years designing, installing, overseeing, maintaining, diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems in a large scale, time sensitive manufacturing environment that also included PLC controls, general mechanical principles and HVAC responsibilities; experience in a commercial print facility strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical distribution up to 480 volt-3phase; AC, DC PLC and microprocessor-based machine control.
• Knowledge of industrial building plant support systems; compressed air, HVAC, vacuum.
• Knowledge of National Electronic Code and OSHA standards.
• Mechanical aptitude; strong computer, math and machine shop skills.
• Ability to work up to twelve hours per day up to seven days per week as well as a variable schedule based on business need.

This is a second shift position and may require overtime and weekend work. Based on business need Shift start and/or stop times will vary when overtime is required.
