What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Angus Meats, Inc.?
Angus Meats, Inc., a locally owned meat production plant, is looking for an Administrative Assistant who is reliable and energetic with a positive can-do attitude. The administrative Assistant will be responsible for our Angus Meats online store.
The Ideal candidate will be able to prioritize work with little to no supervision, be a team player, and be eager and willing to learn and grow with the company. This person will be self-motivated and trustworthy. We are looking for someone to work hard but have fun while working.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- We are a very fast paced company and this position requires many hats to be worn at one time. We consider this position our "Hot Seat" of the office.
- Able to handle the flow of a very fast paced office environment.
- Customer Service, Phones, Invoicing, Filing, support the CEO, COO, Office Manager and the Sales Team.
- Run errands i.e.: Post Office, Purchase Office Supplies, etc.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required for this position.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage time.
- Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, Canva, Outlook and AS400 (can train on AS400)
- Willingness to help in production when needed.
- To manage our online store, which includes filling orders in the cold.
- Ability to withstand Very cold Temperatures
- Be a willing and fast learner (note taking is crucial and mandatory for this position).
- Work with our Marketing team to grow the business.
SKILLS:
- Proven experience as an office administrator or office assistant.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal abilities, and grammar.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Able to handle stress of a fast-paced office.
- Typing and 10-key experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
