Job Summary:
The Assembly Technician will utilize standard processes to perform assigned tasks while maintaining the following:
- Adhering to and maintaining 5S and LEAN Manufacturing standards.
- Functioning as a member of a work team by contributing and initiating quality, safety and productivity ideas.
- Training co-workers on manufacturing skills as required.
- Communicating appropriately to avoid unplanned downtime.
Job Responsibilities:
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for:
- Assembly
- Labeling Finished Goods
- Visual Inspection
- Working with Makor, Ultrasonic Welder, RF Welder, Roland Label Maker, Teckwin and other similar equipment.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Experience in fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work under limited supervision.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and motor coordination.
- Ability to work with small tools.
- Knowledge of workplace safety.
- Must be able to read and speak English to understand work instructions.
- Must be willing to acquire an understanding of the manufacturing process.
- Must be team oriented and understand the customer focused nature of the medical device industry.
