Assistant Supervisor (Dallas DART)
We are a transit research data collection firm seeking an Assistant Supervisor for a 4-month project starting January 23-May 30 for DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) in Dallas, TX. You will be hired to conduct surveys with riders on a tablet and plotting start and end locations on Google Maps for market research to improve transit in the Dallas area. In addition to surveying, you will be checking staff in and out for shifts, giving them their equipment and supplies to ride the buses and rail to conduct surveys with passengers, giving surveyors their routes and schedules each day as to where they will be working, trouble shoot any tablet issues, monitor data in the data analytics software and other related tasks. You will report directly to the Project Manager.
Schedule is Monday-Friday. AM Shifts are 5:00am-1:00pm approx. and PM Shifts are 1:00pm-10:00pm approx. You will be riding on board various assigned buses conducting surveys, sometimes even surveying at the stations.
Report Locations: Report Locations will be at various DART Rail Stations.
MUST have a laptop and vehicle.

Hours: 40-45 hours per week
Pay rate: $22 per hour with opportunity for increases up to $25 based on performance

Requirements:
· Must be prompt as timeliness is important
· Ability to manage people
· Must be very organized and highly dependable
· Must be able to communicate with strangers (Bus Passengers)
· Must possess knowledge of smartphones and/or tablet programs
· Must be able to stand on your feet on board a moving bus for up to 7 - 8 hours
