Anika Systems is looking for a passionate and talented Agile Coach with a background in Business Analysis, to join our expanding Federal team. We are a fast-growing woman-owned small business providing innovative IT solutions for federal government agencies. This opportunity is 100% remote.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government suitability clearance. Priority given to those with an active Department of Treasury Clearance.
As an Agile Coach, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and enhancing Agile methodologies within our organization. In addition to coaching teams in Agile best practices, this role combines Business Analyst expertise to bridge the gap between business needs and Agile implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Coach and mentor cross-functional Agile teams to adopt and implement Agile principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and teams to define and prioritize business and product goals.
- Analyze business processes, requirements, and user stories to ensure alignment with Agile principles and objectives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as Sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and resolve impediments to Agile adoption and team productivity.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and inspection.
- Promote Agile values and principles across the organization and foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Provide support in requirements management, elicitation, and documentation, ensuring clear communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
- Collaborate with product owners and teams to create and maintain a well-prioritized product backlog.
- Assist in user story mapping, grooming, and refinement, ensuring stories are actionable, testable, and valuable.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software products, meeting business and user needs.
- Conduct Agile training and workshops for team members and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Certified Agile Coach (e.g., CSM, CSPO, SAFe) or equivalent Agile certification.
- Proven experience as an Agile Coach, with a strong background in Business Analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.), and best practices.
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in requirements analysis, gathering, and documentation.
- Familiarity with software development and the product development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in driving Agile adoption and transformation within an organization.
- Continuous learning and self-improvement mindset.
