What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales marketing coordinator position at Animal Health International?
The Sales and Marketing Coordinator position is a unique role supporting our Sales team in the Cattle Feeding industry.
Responsibilities include supporting functions essential to sales force productivity including but not limited to planning and organizing meetings and trade shows, designing marketing materials and communications, and being a liaison between the business and strategic accounts.
This position requires experience in animal husbandry, specifically focused on livestock feeding industry.
Responsibilities
Develops, plans, and executes conferences, trade shows, and corporate events, with responsibilities including but not limited to : coordination of event space logistics, planning and running trade show participation with manufacturers, dealers, staff;
management of tradeshow budget; management of related collateral; and all other related tasks; providing reports and information about the show to key stakeholders.
Serves as a liaison between the business and strategic accounts, prepare reports, maintain the territory list, update images and descriptions of sku’s, update the sku list, and actively pursue participation within strategic account events.
Engages in strategic account management, including but not limited to : pulling related reports, maintenance of territory lists, partnership with key stakeholders on contract pricing and related tasks, preparing customer quotes as needed, and working with other account managers and sales team on related tasks
Liases with customers, including scheduling product demos, and keeping a seamless experience in mind while providing customer support
Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in product offerings, including understanding customer workflow and usability
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in animal science or related field, or equivalent work experience (four years) required in livestock feeding, including a minimum of two (2) years sales experience
Experience in animal health, specifically focused on livestock feeding industry.
Experience working under minimal supervision, with independent decision-making skills
Proven problem-solving skills
Proven ability to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions
Strong written and verbal communication skills
In-depth knowledge of the animal health business
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth knowledge of SAP and SAP BW, and other business systems
Proven expertise with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent understanding of various sales and marketing techniques
