Position Summary: The ARL is seeking a licensed veterinarian to join our growing team so we can help more animals! Our organization consistently achieves a 95% save rate for dogs and an 87% for cats. We are adding additional programming for our Community Cats this year to help with the overpopulation and increase the number of live outcomes. In 2022, we welcomed over 4730 animals into our shelter and over 2300 publicly owned animals in our Medical Center. This position will primarily oversee all aspects of veterinary care for our shelter animals and help with the public animals in our Medical Center. The ARL is a Public Service Loan Compliant 501c3 organization.

Requirements: DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree required and a USDA Accreditation or willingness to become accredited is preferred. Licensure in PA to practice veterinary medicine and DEA license or ability to obtain a DEA license required.
