What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant (Full-Time) position at Ankle and Foot Associates PC?
We are currently looking for a dependable Clinical Assistant for our Portland office location.
This individual will be someone with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to deliver exceptional patient care.
Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
- CNA degree or prior medical experience preferred
- Strong attendance record
- Ability to multi-task is a MUST
- Strong organizational/communication skills
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Rooming patients in a timely manner
- Inputting patient info into EMR
- Assist patients with clinical needs
- Assist doctors in office procedures when needed
- Ordering MRI's, Ultrasounds etc.
- Obtaining prior authorization through insurance companies for various imaging, surgical procedures, and DME equipment
- Taking X-Rays when needed
- Cleaning/sterilization of medical instruments
- Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam rooms on a daily basis
