We are looking for someone who takes pride in being reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering high-quality grooming services and can enjoy each day and challenge with a smile on their face. Must be willing to learn, grow, and teach.

You will be a 1099 employee and will follow the pricing of the shop.

Job Requirements:

• A High School diploma is a minimum requirement for this position.
• Minimum 1 years experience grooming in a salon
• Must have your own supplies (i.e. clippers, blades, shears)
• Must be able to groom a small breed dog in an average time of an hour and a half
• Demonstrate compassion and gentleness towards both animals AND people.
• Strong customer service skills are essential for this role
• Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for this role.
• Physical strength requirement: Capable of lifting a maximum of 75 lbs for handling larger dogs.

• Applicants are required to undergo a drug screening and provide proof of a drug-free status.

Job Duties:

• Communicate with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and address any concerns
• Maintain knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
• Perform grooming services on dogs.
• Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur to meet client specifications.
• Clean and maintain grooming tools and equipment
• Provide basic health checks, such as checking for fleas or skin conditions
• Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
• Help maintain a clean and organized shop

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.16 - $19.13 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
