Regional Director of Business Operations

Overview

The Regional Director of Business Operations is accountable for the quality and timeliness of technical procedures, compliance, safety, and department budget including achieving objectives as determined by the CEO and Partners within their region.

Responsibilities

As assigned but not limited to the following:

• Patient satisfaction optimization
• Full P&L responsibility including managing and improving revenue, reducing clinical cost, and mproving clinical margin, (to include cosmetic revenue)
• Responsible for meeting/exceeding budget goals by implementing and managing to KPI’s
• Monitor and review providers’ schedules to expand and accommodate the region’s capacity fulfillment and patient encounters
• Identify and lead process improvements by facilitating and participating in lean, six sigma optimization projects
• Create and utilize reporting and metrics to reduce regional costs of supplies, inventory, equipment, service, repairs, and labor costs
• Build and foster positive relationships with Physicians and business leaders in order to collaborate on business strategies and improve patient services
• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent to ensure growth and continuity of operations
• Partner with Compliance, Finance and HR departments to ensure compliance with company policy and federal and state legislation
• Manage multiple satellite offices and travel as needed to satellite offices
• Generally, spend four days per week traveling to different locations each day
• Responsible for field facilities and practice development of ramping providers

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent result driven and people leadership capability
• In-depth knowledge of health care finance best practices and standards
• Understanding of health and safety standards in the medical industry
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA standards
• Ability to think strategically to ensure the best possible outcomes and approach to an issue
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate, and manage tasks

Licensure/Certifications/Education

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, health information management, or a related field
• Minimum five years’ experience in a medical office or similar setting
• Master’s degree in public health, health information management and technology, health care administration or business administration is preferred
• Previous experience in Dermatology is preferred
