What We Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a reliable maintenance worker to undertake daily upkeep and repair tasks at the interior and exterior of our beautiful campuses in Laguna Beach, California. We'll rely on you to work with a team to keep our facilities in safe, but also pristine condition. must be well organized with strong general repair skills. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. We are looking for someone with ambition who not only cares about their job, but cares about their team, and our schools.

Responsibilities

· Perform general maintenance and repairs

· Landscape and grounds upkeep

· Repair equipment or appliances

· Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work

· Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks

· Identify and report the need for major repairs

Skills

· Proven experience as a handyman/maintenance worker

· Building trade/experience a major plus

· Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment

· Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems

· Basic math skills

· Good communication skills – Multilingual English and Spanish a plus

· Well-organized and apt in problem-solving

· Attention to detail

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Must pass LiveScan

· Ability to lift up to 60 lbs

· Prior work with animals (chickens, horses, goats, alpacas) is a plus
