Tax Specialist – Onsite in Libertyville, Illinois

We are a rapidly growing firm seeking a talented tax professional to join our team and assist in the tax planning needs of our clients. The right candidate will be knowledgeable in personal tax planning and be able to develop personalized advice and communicate the recommendations effectively to clients.

Your Role

• Prepare individual tax returns
• Interact with clients to gather additional data to complete their tax return
• Stay updated on current tax laws and potential tax law changes
• Work closely with tax manager and partner to resolve tax return issues
• Work with internal Wealth Managers and Client Service Managers to obtain answers to client's tax return issues
Willing to learn how to prepare other types of tax returns as you progress in your

• At least 2 years of experience preparing individual tax returns
• CPA is highly preferred
• Knowledge of the current tax laws
Ability to communicate effectively with other company personnel and clients
