What you'll do:
- Coach drivers in person or via remote technology on their driving behaviors
- Advise on provisions to minimize safety risks
- Using a combination of our in-cab monitoring system and defensive driving techniques, coach field personnel to improve performance
- Monitor safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
- Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
- Provide defensive driving training as required at field offices
- Must be able to demonstrate ability to maintain positive working relationships both internally and externally
- Other duties as assigned by management
Who we are looking for:
- You are at least 18 years old
- You are authorized to work in the United States for this company
- You have prioe exeperience in driver training, evaluation and ongoing coaching
- You are proficient with Microsoft Business Applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)
- You are comfortable with intervening/speaking up when unsafe acts or processes are observed
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills
- You are detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
- You are comfortable communicating with people in leadership positions
