Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

Mead Elementary School (PreK-5th)

Ansonia Public Schools is seeking an SLPA to assist speech language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.

Qualities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to the following :

  • Passion for working with students in a school environment.
  • Ability to collaborate, communicate and interact with a multidisciplinary school team and families.
  • Ability to collect and report student data.
  • Ability to maintain records and documentation of the IEP implementation of goals and objectives tied to service delivery.
  • Bachelor's Degree and / or Completion of an SLPA certificate.
  • Previous experience as an SLPA preferred.

Position is 29.5 hours per week without benefits
