SUMMARY
The IT Auditor will perform a variety of IT audits and special projects focused on evaluating, and determining the effectiveness, adequacy, and efficiency of, internal controls surrounding ANSYS data, systems and assets. This position will work directly for the Director of Internal Audit along with working closely with management teams across the different departments and geographies.

SUMMARY
The IT Auditor will perform a variety of IT audits and special projects focused on evaluating, and determining the effectiveness, adequacy, and efficiency of, internal controls surrounding ANSYS data, systems and assets. This position will work directly for the Director of Internal Audit along with working closely with management teams across the different departments and geographies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performing IT internal audits from start (i.e. execution of customized audit programs) to finish (report writing, conducting closing meetings, and performing follow-up reviews)
- Overseeing and monitoring IT Control and Security change programs
- Making recommendations to improve the design and effectiveness of IT and Security Controls
- Sharing with process owners the results of the audit and agreeing appropriate corrective actions to remedy any non-conformances
- Special projects as assigned by Senior Management
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S in accounting or computer science
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in an IT public accounting environment
- The position requires a knowledge of IT general controls, network operating environments, network components, an understanding of information technology infrastructures, operating systems, servers, information security management, relational database management systems, program changes, web applications, BCP/DR, and systems development life cycles
- Experience in performing IT engagements that includes, but is not limited to SOX IT, SOC2 and other Risk Assurance ITGC engagements
- Strong interpersonal skills and analytical abilities are required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA, CISA certifications preferred, but not required
- Confident and professional manner
- Articulate, both verbally and in writing

- Good project management and team working ability
- Self-motivated and willing to take on responsibility
