PURPOSE OF JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Pricing Administrator is to enter and maintain client pricing, fee schedules and discounts for accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review contracts and enter pricing based on contracts for U.S., Canada, and AIS for the following updates: special prices, fee schedule definition, trade discounts, & monthly credits
  • Fix/Adjust invoices to reflect pricing changes
  • Calculate credits for previous invoices if needed
  • Notify billing department with updates for specific codes processed manually
  • Update portal to maintain database
  • Review pending requests to make sure pricing is entered timely
  • Enter pricing requests for non-contract accounts such as: special pricing, review credit calculations submitted by sales representatives, enter credits submitted by representatives for lab errors, late price submissions, and any other issues
  • Update client status for professional courtesy discounts
  • Enter pricing and fee schedule for AIS imaging services
  • File/scan all pricing changes
  • Annual Price increase
  • Assist in the entry of price changes for fee schedule prices, client fee schedules, and special prices during annual price increases
  • Assist in reviewing fee schedules and special prices entered in the system
  • Assist in reviewing fee schedules entered for the annual increase on published copies
  • Assist in reviewing pdf files for client custom fee schedule notices sent to printer to mail to clients
  • Process fee schedules returned mail
  • Database changes
  • Process new accounts and purchased/restarted accounts
  • Assign new numbers, update info on existing accounts
  • Define other fields for new accounts, MA opt out, autodial, reflex codes
  • Update info in Antech Online that isn’t automated
  • Update in portal to send out notification notices
  • Set up new AIS accounts not defined in the system and add AIS mnemonic to existing accounts (requested by AIS and billing)
  • Monitor change request box to process change requests in the MIS database from CS and other departments such as: update client demographics, update fax numbers, define/remove client reflexes or MA reflex opt out, autodial definition, Antech Online definition updates, weekend rotation to monitor box once a month, and client territory changes
  • Create new unit codes and update specimen requirements for unit code definition
  • Review edit list prior to month end to define/activate new accounts, fix order entry errors for clients or unit codes, and fix unit code errors
  • Monthly code review for Canada and US to fix/adjust errors in system
  • Assist with audit requirements/documentation by pulling requests, maintaining monthly logs and files, auditing requests for approvals, and printing reports/files for semi-annual security review
  • Review term lists to remove access for associates for security definition
  • Define access for the lab system, IOS purchasing system and FIN
  • Reset passwords for lab, IOS and fin as requested
  • Answer email requests and phone calls from sales regarding pricing and discounts defined for accounts.
  • Provide usage reports for sales reps
  • Work with new reps to give overview of pricing structure and procedures
  • Test new menus/procedures for special projects as needed in order to streamline process to be more efficient

REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 1-3 years’ experience

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel proficiency
