The Service Experience Team in Anthem’s Digital IT Org is looking to hire a Director of Product Development to join its team. This People Manager will lead a team that is responsible for gathering the business requirements and the further development of our Contact Center Technology, a PEGA Solution.
[Preferred location is Virginia Beach or Richmond, VA market, but we are open to candidates living in another area]
Responsible for directing the development and implementation of new products and modifications of existing products.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
-Oversees strategy and implementation of new products or product changes/enhancements.
-Supports product usability requirements, customer journey and analytics
Ensures product delivers on established business value
Monitors and supports the needs of Ops readiness, change management and training.
-Investigates market opportunities and effect on market for present products.
-Determines customer needs and preferences through research and analysis of industry technology, current processes and other methods.
-Monitors product performance and the competitive environment by benefit design, market segment and sub region.
-Ensures products meet competitive and legislative needs.
-Supports the development of short and long term strategic product promotions in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.
-Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy.
-Establishes product development policies to guide product development.
-Monitors product development for compliance.
-Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree and a minimum of 7 years of product ownership and/or product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Highly preferred experience:
-Contact center Product Technology Experience
- Healthcare Technology experience – especially PEGA platform or PEGA Solution
-Agile or Lean experience preferred
