Documentation Analyst I/II/SR

Location: This is an in-office position that may be filled at either of these offices

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, standard business hours with possibility for overtime



Level I
Responsible for developing documentation of business processes and systems. Manages documentation for smaller projects and processes. Work may be reviewed by more experienced analyst.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Researches and compiles data relative to smaller-scale, less complex processes.
  • Prepares new or reviews and updates existing documentation.
  • Gathers, writes, validates and update training material, end user documentation, operations manuals and technical user guides.
  • Conducts interviews to gather information to be documented.
  • Collaborates with the development team in evaluation of documentation needs.
  • Assists in identifying new documentation or modifications to existing documentation. May assist in research of larger-scale projects and processes.



Level II
Responsible for managing documentation for smaller enterprise to medium sized regional projects and processes and systems. Work may be reviewed by more experienced analyst.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepares new or reviews and updates existing documentation.
  • Makes recommendations for process changes and works with management to obtain sign-off and to implement.
  • Mentor less experienced Documentation Analyst.
  • Perform system administration functions to maintain learning support systems.
  • Develops and updates flows and end-user documentation due to system changes.
  • Extrapolates, complies, tests, and validates that tools work properly and meet stated business objectives.


Level SR
Responsible for researching and documenting more complex projects and work processes to ensure business continuity and consistency.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Researches, extrapolates, compiles and validates data on flows, systems, coding, and testing problems and processing issues
  • Makes recommendations for process changes and works with management to obtain sign-off and to implement
  • Develops and updates flows and end-user documentation based on research and system changes
  • Facilitates issues meetings
  • Assists in managing intranet site by uploading procedures and maintaining a daily bulletin.

Qualifications



Qualifications:
  • Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent;
  • Level I: 0-2 years related experience;
  • Level II: 3-5 years related experience, of which at least 2 should be in documentation;
  • Level SR: 3-5 years related experience, of which at least 3 should be in documentation;
  • Or, any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • BA/BS preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is required.
  • Must be well versed with Microsoft Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Workforce Management is a plus.
  • Background/experience with FHPS preferred
