Director of Memory Care Job Summary:
- Responsible for the coordination of all programming and staffing aspects of the Memory Care Program at the community while adhering to state policies governing dementia resident care
- Supports the Director of Health and Wellness in the creation and presentation of the quarterly wellness plans
- Assisting the residents and their families in maintaining the physical and emotional health of the individual
- Coordinates all aspects of life for Memory Care residents including evaluation of residents upon admission and development of personal plan or program
- Responsible for departmental schedule and ensures adequate staffing in accordance with company standards, policies, procedures, budgets and state laws
- Coordinate nursing services with other resident services to ensure continuity of the resident’s total regimen of care
Qualifications:
- Degree in healthcare, mental health, gerontology, recreational therapy, or social service required
- Minimum of three years experience in a senior living care setting
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of Dementia care is required
- Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
- CPR certification
