Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant/Supervisor the Administrative Support Person is responsible to assist with clerical and administrative processes.
Essential Role Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to achieve business goals by ensuring key deliverables are met
- Maintain Administrative Care Tickets, TEAMS Meeting and Events Calendar
- Assist with the planning and organizing of meeting and or special events
- Coordinate with catering companies and menu planning events
- Ensuring all conference rooms / event spaces / social areas are always clean, presentable, and supplied as necessary
- Ensures effective communication is maintained with team members and customers
- Provides administrative support to the Administrative Team, Sales Team, and customers as needed
- Orders supplies and maintains appropriate stock for social areas, conference rooms, office supplies and events
- Focuses on special projects for ownership (i.e., Corporate Charity Raffles, Events)
- Partners with other department team leader(s) and or customer(s) on special projects and tasks as assigned
- Adheres to sanitary guidelines
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload
- Ability to communicate on a professional level with office personnel and customers
- Energetic action and detail-oriented self-starter with strong leadership skills
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS, and PowerPoint)
Essential Education & Experience
- Minimum High School Diploma and/or G.E.D (Required). Additional education (Preferred).
- 1-2 years administrative experience (Preferred)
Work Conditions & Safety
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for up to 6-8 hours
- Must be able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 20 pounds with assistance
- Work Conditions are normal for an office and manufacturing environment
- Work environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety goggles, steel toe shoes/boots, and hearing protections
