Locum opportunity! General Dentistry contract opportunities with our partners nationwide. These are IMMEDIATE NEEDS, starting upon credentialing.

DDS/DMD – East Harwich, MA

Pay starts at $115/hr. **Travel and Lodging are covered**

Quick Facts:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license and any required certifications to practice dentistry in the given location.
• Proven experience as a General Dentist, with a strong grasp of dental procedures and techniques.
• Must be Board Certified and Board Eligible
• 3-month contract with the possibility to extend

Description:

Start Date: ASAP!

• Monday- Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-2:30pm
• Types of cases: General Dentistry, Crowns, Dentures, Fillings, and Extractions
• Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, disease prevention, and post-treatment care to promote oral health.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and a positive patient experience.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Have and use dental loupes where appropriate with a magnification of no less than 2.5 x
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and ethical standards.
• Uphold infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
• Actively participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to expand clinical knowledge and skills.
• Demonstrate empathy and strong communication skills to effectively communicate treatment options, outcomes, and any potential risks to patients.
• Promote and maintain a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment.
