**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate and creative Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting in a variety of arts programs with instruction, set up, and breakdowns. This is a by-contract position, not full-time or part-time.
**Duties:**
- Prep and deconstruct materials for each class
- Help students generate and complete of projects
- Conduct demonstrations and workshops on various activities related to the field
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment for all students
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field -OR- over 3 years of working in the field with references
- Previous experience teaching art at the K-12 level or higher education institutions. MOST PROGRAMS WILL INVOLVE K-8 for schools
- If you are more interested in teaching adults, we do offer adult programs as well
- Proficiency in digital design software and tools
- Some knowledge of art history, theory, and contemporary practices
- Ability to engage and motivate students with diverse learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiar with Procreate
- Experience in character animation and web design
- Passion for educating and inspiring students in the arts
