We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to add to our team of Wedding Planners! Our ideal candidate will have experience in the hospitality and/or events industry. Candidate must have basic knowledge, or be willing to learn about current wedding trends, traditions, and love to interact with people.
Responsibilities:
Manage email and phone correspondence with vendors and clients
Attend onsite venue walk throughs and client meetings as assigned
Facilitate wedding rehearsals
Act as a resource for bridal party and wedding guests throughout wedding day and/or wedding related events
Assist with managing and executing wedding day timelines
Assist with coordination of wedding day vendors
Assist with ceremony and reception set up and break down
Required Skills:
Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with large groups of people
Customer service experience required
Event Planning experience is strongly preferred
This position allows room for growth. The ideal candidate will be interested in training to become a Senior Wedding Planner.
Must have reliable transportation to and from events in Charlottesville and surrounding areas

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
