What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stamping Press Operator position at AOC Metal Works?
The Stamping Press Operator produces parts by utilizing measuring equipment calculations and machines to ensure that the product has met all specifications, while meeting customer needs and expectations with quality.
Principal Accountabilities: (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.):
- Press parts on a stamping press; very repetitive work
- Receives work instruction, prints, and routers for jobs
- Working knowledge of equipment and materials
- Utilizes measuring devices daily to check and verify accuracy of work
- Performs operator daily maintenance of machine and tooling as required
- Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements
- Monitor quality and maximize output of product
- Willingness to cross train and work in all areas of the warehouse
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Assist with other duties as assigned
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
