Aon is hiring for a Vice President or Senior Vice President Pharmacy Consultant!
The Pharmacy Consulting Vice President or Senior Vice President provides pharmacy strategy, financial and clinical consulting for employers across all pharmacy solutions including the coalition product. As our most senior roles in the practice, this role must have proven experience leading the most sophisticated Pharmacy clients and achieving or exceeding sales goals. This role can be an individual contributor or could lead a team of Pharmacy consultants.
The successful individual will have a strong understanding of the PBM marketplace and be viewed as a connector in the industry by peers within and outside of Aon. Demonstrated track record of thought leadership in benefits consulting.
What the day will look like:- Will be accountable for developing and implementing strategies to enhance pharmacy benefit savings for employer clients primarily through an established consulting arrangement inclusive of a (PBM) procurement process, a market check process and/or other services.
- This role will drive fundamental change in the market, possibly managing regional consultants in our practice, and help to brainstorm and launch new products with scalable revenue.
- Lead for the sale and support of products/services: Audits, PBM Marketing Activities (RFPs/Market Checks/Contract Renewals), Coalition Opportunities, PBM Implementation Services, etc.
- Client-facing and direct interaction with PBM leadership teams.
- This role leads meetings and speaks to the clients, running the project, serving as client-facing SME, and articulating the results from projects and messaging key industry updates.
- Lead for the sale and support of a product/services: Audits, PBM Selection Activities, Direct Client Consulting, Aon Pharmacy Coalition Opportunities, Market Checks, Implementation Services, etc.
- Directly conducting sophisticated engagements and/or supervising a team of others conducting engagements in pharmacy consulting.
- Consulting for Employer RFPs, Directorship consulting, Oversight and Management for Large Market Clients, Market Checks, ad hoc work
- This role leads meetings and speaks to the clients, running the project, serving as client-facing SME, and articulating the results from projects and messaging key industry updates.
- 10 years of Pharmacy consulting experience.
- Viewed as an industry leader with expertise in pharmacy benefits.
- Deep knowledge negotiating and running consulting engagements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral presentation skills.
- Ability to manage expectations and understanding all levels.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and clients with dynamic and shifting timelines.
- Lead/oversee large, unique clients (may be direct or coalition).

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $160,000 to $240,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
