Aon Global Risk Consulting has an exciting career opportunity for a Risk Associate. This position will be an outsourced role for Aon's client located in Manhattan, NY. The role is a hybrid remote role.
What the day will look like
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for invoicing, monthly reconciliation
- Utilize information systems and claims databases to develop needed loss reserves for analysis, budget preparation, insurance underwriting and marketing and internal reports
- Manage third party claim administrators and related services
- Stay current on the client's products and services and insurance industry issues that may impact insurance programs or claims.
- Gather data and submission for policy renewals
- Review contracts and certificates of insurance
- Respond to foreign insurance issues
- Manage liability claims/litigation workers compensation, auto, property claims and legacy claims
Skills and experience that will lead to success
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
- 8 years of experience in risk management field
- Bachelor's degree, preferably with area of study in Risk Management or Finance
- ARM or CPCU designation
- Safety, loss prevention and claims training desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at an executive level
- Strong interpersonal skills
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (including Access) and SharePoint
- Private Equity experience is a plus

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 - $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of New York, NY. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
