Duties:

• Financial Analysis & Insights: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models to forecast future revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Budgeting & Performance Management: Support the creation and implementation of budgets and financial plans, while actively monitoring and analyzing performance against them.
• Variance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis to identify and investigate significant deviations from financial plans, taking necessary corrective actions.
• Financial Reporting: Participate in the preparation of comprehensive financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Financial Expertise: Stay up-to-date on current financial trends and regulations, recommending necessary adjustments to company policies or procedures.

Required Skills:

• 1 years of experience working in program control analyst roles, project control analyst roles, or financial analyst roles.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including analyzing profit and loss and balance sheet statements
• interpreting Statements of Work (SOW), monitoring funding allocations, and reviewing and approving invoices.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel advanced formulas and their use in financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environments.
• Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues.

Preferred Skills:

• Highly preferred – experience with monitoring compliance and conditions for government contracts.
• Highly preferred – Prior experience with subcontractor and vendor management, including reading and
• Prior experience with Unanet Accounting Software
• Experience with financial modeling, including funding analysis and cost and revenue projections
• Experience with proposal support, including responding to RFPs and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements
• Ability to learn fundamentals related to the support of program management activities
• Ability to identify program risks, assist with associated mitigation plans, and identify and prioritize requirements
• Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extreme attention to detail

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
