Controller

Responsible for managing the everyday financial activities of the business and is a key member in our success. Detail oriented and highly analytical; This position will streamline our budgeting, payroll and financial reporting processes and develop our accounting department. A skilled financial analyst, he/she will lead the budgeting process, manage the monthly close process and prepare and report financial statements to senior managers to aid in our continued success.

Duties include:

• Oversee, support and develop the accounting team by creating an environment of trust and productivity
• Develop, implement and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets
• Manage and forecast weekly cash flow requirements
• Manage the annual budgeting process
• Manage monthly financial closing process and prepare statements in accordance with GAAP
• Together with the CFO establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets and reporting standards on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Partner with external auditors and CPA teams when necessary
• Work closely with other department managers to develop and report KPI’s

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or job-related experience
• 5 years of experience as senior level accounting or finance manager
• Professional certification, such as a CPA, preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of banking processes and financial data analysis
• Experience with financial project management
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems. (NetSuite)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
