Production Coordinator
APC Roofing is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a Production scheduler to join the APC Roofing family.
Our production coordinator will schedule and coordinate all efforts for our roofing jobs.
To be successful as the production coordinator you should have good time management and be able to multitask with some basic math skills. These qualities are essential for this position.
** Organizational abilities are paramount.
Responsibilities
- Have a good customer service attitude as this person will be the main point of contact with our suppliers and our field representatives.
- Plan, schedule, direct and execute production activities.
- Work with sales staff in order to coordinate supplies and jobs.
- Work had in hand with the Permitting Coordinator to ensure all jobs are planned in a timely manner.
- Work with our Field Project Manager to ensure that information pertaining to the job is communicated correctly.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g., fax machines and printers)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Customer service attitude
- Prior experience with scheduling in the roofing industry preferred but not required.
At 90 days of employment, we will consider your skills and abilities then evaluate your pay for an increase.
Mainly - You will evaulate residential and commercial properties from the office and determine how much product we are going to order, schedule and order said product and make sure its delivered.
