Aperio Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, configuring, and maintaining our network infrastructure. The Network Engineer will be responsible for managing Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and security appliances, as well as deploying IPv6 on network infrastructure devices.
• Design, configure, and maintain Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and security appliances to ensure the stability and performance of the network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement network upgrades, enhancements, and expansions.
• Monitor network performance and security, identifying and resolving issues proactively to maintain optimal network operation.
• Assist in the design and deployment of IPv6 on network infrastructure devices, ensuring seamless integration with existing network components.
• Conduct regular security assessments of the network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary measures to protect against cyber threats.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for network-related issues, assisting end-users and resolving connectivity problems.
• Create and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry best practices to provide innovative solutions and recommendations.

- Have an Active Secret Clearance
- Experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and security appliances.
- Experience with configuring and deploying IPv6 on network infrastructure devices.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). A copy of the certificate must be provided.
- Must meet applicable cyber security certification requirements for an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II, which includes: One DoD-approved baseline security cybersecurity workforce certification appropriate for each category and level as listed in the current version of DoD 8570.01-M. Copy of certification must be provided.
- Appropriate operating system certification for cyber security technical positions as required by DoD 8570.01-M. Copy of certification must be provided.
- Must hold an IAT level II certification, such as Security CE, CCNA-Security, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).
