Interior Designer/Exterior Landscape Designer

Job Description:

Apex Design Group is in search of a skilled and experienced Interior Designer/Exterior Landscape Designer to join our innovative team. This unique position will play a pivotal role in designing both interior spaces and exterior landscapes, including pools, patios, pergolas, pavilions, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and more. As our company expands into interior design, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse and dynamic projects. Current or aspiring architects are encouraged to apply as well. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high level knowledge of Revit and working knowledge in TwinMotion (or other rendering softwares).

Key Responsibilities:

• Interior Design:
• Collaborate with clients to understand interior design preferences and requirements.
• Develop comprehensive interior design plans, including color schemes, furniture layouts, and material selections.
• Work closely with architects and contractors to ensure seamless execution of interior design concepts.
• Exterior Landscape Design:
• Conceptualize and design outdoor spaces, focusing on pools, patios, pergolas, pavilions, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and related elements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision for exterior landscape projects.
• Develop detailed design plans and specifications for construction teams.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically Revit, for 3D modeling and design documentation.
• AutoCAD

• 3DS Max
• Recap Pro
• Experience in rendering softwares such as TwinMotion or Endscape is preferred.
• Ability to create detailed construction drawings for both interior and exterior projects.
• Utilize a variety of design software and tools to enhance the visualization of design concepts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Exterior Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing both interior spaces and exterior landscapes, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative projects.
• Proficient in Autodesk software, particularly Revit.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
• Exhibits meticulous attention to detail, coupled with a discerning design eye for harmonizing aesthetics and functionality.
• Predesign before sales meeting
• Draw house
• Elevation
• Conducts sales meetings with customers/drafts design
• Completes original design
• Conducts any follow up design meetings
• Makes changes to design until original contract is signed
• Provide support for pool installation crews
• Conduct site visits
• Executes assignments as dictated by our project management software in adherence to established workflow protocols
• Check and respond to email often.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must be able to work independently and solve problems.
• Excellent customer service skills are a must as well as the ability to carry out your duties in a professional manner.
• Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and written and be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
