- Creating and maintaining quality reports and communicate findings to supervisor
- Performing CMM programming, set-up, inspection and reporting
- Monitoring, measuring and supporting of QC systems
- Performing calibration of all metrology equipment
- Maintaining gage qualification, calibration records and quality related documentation
- Collecting data in regard to process capabilities at varying stages of production
- Ensuring lab equipment is maintained in good working order
- Performing measurements of products and components for part validation, PPAP and inspection
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in quality/inspection and calibration within a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings with proficiency in GD&T.
- Hands-on experience writing CMM programs and operating CMM independently, with proficiency in Rational DMIS & PC-DMIS software.
- Experience with other Design software is advantageous.
- Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments including Optical Comparator, Calipers, Micrometers, Gauge Block, Pin Gauge, CMM, FARO, etc.
- CQA or CQT certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics and SPC functions for analysis of related data.
