Are you looking for the next step in your Manufacturing career? Do you have elevated assembly experience? Then Apex has the job for you! We have partnered with a client in Hudsonville for an amazing assembly opportunity!

Candidates will be responsible for preparing wires by coiling, cutting and stripping them by hand or machine in addition to wire harness assembly. See additional details below:

What your day will look like:

  • Plugging and hooding cables
  • Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete
  • Apply heat shrink or cable ties, tin dipping of wires
  • Testing wires for electrical resistance
  • Packaging final goods
  • Arbor press or discrete wire assembly
  • Melt and apply solder along adjoining edges of work pieces to solder joints, using soldering iron
  • Heat soldering irons to specified temperatures for soldering

What we are looking for:

  • Basics of wire and Cable Design
  • Knowledge of Assembly practices used in IPC-620A and IPC -14C
  • Knowledge of RoHS Requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of measurements
  • 3 yrs. of experience in hand soldering, and or college degree in accredited electrical trade school
