What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at APEX Recovery Rehab?
Position Summary:
Apex Recovery, an innovative and integrative treatment center, has an full time career opportunity for individuals with extensive Nursing experience. We are looking for a Registered Nurse to lead, and provide additional support to Residential staff (CNAs, MAs,& LVNs) in a luxury, inpatient substance abuse facility. Responsible for assuring all Company standards are met and maintained and that all policies and procedures are carried out properly.
Qualifications:
- Must possess current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) at minimum; Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is not required, but certainly a plus.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Shall have at least 1 experience or training in a supervisory role within the mental health setting that services individuals with chemical dependency and or co-occurring disorders
- Shall have at least 1-year experience or training in program development for individuals with chemical dependency or co-occurring psychiatric and substance disorders.
- Must be physically and mentally able to direct in an emergency situation.
- Demonstrates interest and ability to work effectively with the community.
- Demonstrate ability to apply principles of supervision of personnel along with the ability to implement and coordinate APEX Recovery, LLC team responsible for service delivery.
- Must possess current TN Driver's License.

- Possess a genuine interest in and concern for persistently chemically dependent persons.
- Have ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all center personnel, professional staff, representatives from government and community agencies, clients and their families, and the public.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to learn and implement government regulations.
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to implement center policies.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Be willing and able to accept and utilize close supervision from Executive Director and Program Manager.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supporting/Leading other Residential technician staff.
- Maintain clear communication with Program Manager.
- Assessment of basic medical needs.
- Medication monitoring/count.
- Basic medical care and first aid.
- Ability to work closely and collaborate with all staff.
- Possible transportation of clients to and from appointments.
Compensation/Salary will be dependent upon experience.
