We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in our daily operations by efficiently and safely operating forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the smooth flow of our warehouse or facility operations.
Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts: Safely and efficiently operate various types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks, to move materials, products, and equipment according to instructions and work orders.

Load and unload: Use forklifts to load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers. Carefully position forks, secure loads, and utilize forklift controls to lift and lower items with precision.

Material handling: Move materials within the facility, including pallets, boxes, crates, and other items. Retrieve materials from storage areas, shelves, or staging areas, and transport them to designated locations.

Inventory control: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing materials. Utilize scanning devices, computer systems, or manual record-keeping methods to track inventory movement.

Safety and maintenance: Adhere to safety guidelines and operating procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any malfunctions or damages and perform routine maintenance tasks as required.

Quality control: Inspect materials and products for damages, defects, or inconsistencies during the handling process. Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors or relevant personnel promptly.

Communication: Effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate tasks, receive instructions, and report progress. Utilize radios, intercom systems, or other communication devices as necessary.

Qualifications:
