Job Description:
A client of Apex is seeking a qualified Agile PM/Scrum Master to oversee and guide multiple scrum teams. The Agile PM/Scrum Master's responsibilities include: ensuring that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices, coaching, mentoring and motivating the teams to improve processes, facilitating meetings and decision-making processes, eliminating team impediments, determining and managing tasks, issues, risks, and action items, cultivating a strong working relationship with the Product Owners and Program Director, scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, and decision-making processes, monitoring progress and performance and helping teams to make improvements, planning and organizing demos, ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team, tracking project processes and deliverables and preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders. An outstanding scrum master should have excellent interpersonal, Agile project management, and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment: Hyrbid - expected to be onsite in Springfield, IL office 1-2x/week.

Required Skills:
- Five years experience working as an Agile PM/Scrum Master on large scale new software development projects utilizing an Agile/Scrum methodology
- Five years experience as a Scrum Master providing guidance and expertise to Scrum teams in the areas of coaching, requirements and documentation, agile/iterative planning, agile execution techniques, and cross-team coordination
- Five years experience tracking key scrum metrics and presenting to stakeholders
- Three years experience working with public pension systems
- Certified Scrum Master
