Job Brief:
In this role, the incumbent will provide a direct link between global end-to-end work process and data solutions teams and cross-functional business operations. Business Impact Experts (BIE's) will maintain awareness and understanding of the overall company strategy and will apply this understanding to influence positive outcomes.
The BIE will collaborate with end-to-end and business teams to identify gaps in business processes, research impacts of potential changes in process, and recommend next steps to drive positive outcomes.
The BIE will be conversant in end-to-end operational business processes across our organization, and as needed, conduct deep-dives, discovery, and impact analysis, and participate in selection and prioritization of proposed cross-functional initiatives. The BIE is responsible for forming and maintaining connections with business users. Excellent communication (both written and verbal), big picture thinking, and analytical, process-focused orientation are key talents for the success in the BIE role. You should be able to relate to and empathize and build rapport with business users and be able to advocate for them patiently and confidently in interdisciplinary discussions. BIE's will often need to operate in 'gray' areas comfortably and capably without complete information.
The BIE will also provide overall support to the global end-to-end work process and data solutions teams by supporting successful completion of analytical process improvement and documentation activities.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contributes thought leadership (understanding of business impacts and making recommendations based on this understanding) to process governance and utilization of the designed processes across the business.
- Performs research and analysis for change requests to determine feasibility and impacts of proposed changes
- Identify and implement process change across all functions of the organization utilizing technical and process architecture and simplified modeling.
- Assess alignment between business processes and technology, data, and systems, and recommend improvements
- Engage business teams to inspire and empower them to provide input into process change, providing input into change management and communication of process changes and best practices.
- Contribute to business case development for larger initiatives in collaboration with business, Data Solution, and IT resources
- Assesses and prioritizes enhancement requests in collaboration with cross-functional resources
- Collaborate with EDM and Business Data Solutions to conceptualize and propose solutions to meet business needs which align with the stated business model, mission, and objectives.
- Contribute to standardization, design and documentation of existing business process to support consistency across value chain.
- Deliver high-quality analysis and process documentation
Skills, Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related operational or technical discipline required
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' demonstrated experience in business relationship management, business analysis or business process management
- Knowledgeable in technologies used by business operations (i.e., SAP "off the shelf" design and/or other identified tools) and how technologies influence business processes
- Possess natural big picture thinking with regard to end-to-end processes (hybrid of business and technical knowledge)
- Possesses a 'consultant mindset' (ability to deftly, but with tact, challenge, question, consult and advise on potential changes)
- High capability communication skills - understands, interprets, and translates languages of cross functional groups
- Strong collaboration skills
- Demonstrated experience in modern process/analysis documentation techniques
