Location: Wallingford, CT, Lowell, MA or Medway, MA - Hybrid 2 days a week in office
Rate: Negotiable based on experience
Duration: 12 months contract (potential extension based on performance)
JOB DUTIES:
RF Design Support of Sector Engineer
• Assist with Macro, Small Cell or In-Building New Builds
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
• Atoll User Experience
• Google Drive, Docs, and Gmail
• RF Design Experience of a minimum of 2 - 3 years.
• Highly recommended having some experience with Verizon tools: Fuze SPM, Fuze Planning, Fuze Conquest and Fuze RFDS
• Work with other Departments: Real Estate, System Performance, Construction, Transport, and Project Management Leads.
Modification Project Design:
• Capacity or Modification list provided to engineer. Based on this list, create the needed solution in Project Management Tools, review the existing site hardware configuration to determine what modifications would be needed to meet the objective and update version in Atoll.
Finalize RFDS Milestone:
• RFE/EME Tasks, including VZW RAVE, Roofmaster or third party requests.
• Create and upload Contours from Atoll, updating RFDS as necessary
• Complete carrier agreements with adjacent markets and competitors
CIQ/CQ/Conquest Submission:
• Complete updates in Atoll including Power, RSI, PCI updates where necessary to issue CQ
• Create CQ in tool and verify all fields are completed as directed
• Complete RF CQ tasks.
Atoll final Updates/911 Submission:
• Complete outstanding regulatory items and documents as needed.
• Assign Cell ID and PCIs for the macro/small cells, and enter into Atoll and CQ.
• Submit E911 - check the accuracy of Atoll prior to submitting.
Activation & Project Close-Out:
• Review closeout documents and confirm the project is designed as requested by RF.
• Activate in all Tools as needed especially in Atoll.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferred but experience in RF Engineering is a must.
LOGISTICS:
Requirement will be 2 days a week in office with other days being remote. Can be based out of New England Offices - Primarily Wallingford CT, Lowell MA, Medway MA.
