Job Overview: As a Lab Assistant in Tech Ops Analytical Development, you will join the Analytical Development team within the Technical Operations group and embrace the opportunity to transform amazing sciences and technologies to powerful cures.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe laboratory including work with internal and external safety and operations group
• Enable cutting edge research by ensuring our ever-changing laboratory needs are identified and planned for
• Manage space use and proactively work with stakeholders (lab users, safety, etc) to ensure needs are understood and expectations managed
• Monitor and operate laboratory equipment to execute operations and data collection on prepared samples
• Manage storage, inventory and shipping of internally made materials and stocks
• Manage inventory and order consumables not in standard inventory (3rd party POU); proactively identify alternates to out of stock equipment for standard and non-standard stock
• Work with analytical development team to build equipment use, scheduling and consumables forecasting and subsequent management

Qualifications:

• 5 years experience working safely and effectively in a research, GLP or GMP laboratory
• Track record of identifying and driving improvements to systems and processes
• Passion for efficient and effective organization and process
• A collaborative approach and willingness to try and adapt new things
• Comfort working across disciplines and groups to implement change
