Apex Systems is in search of a Network Administrator to support a 6 month project for one of our top healthcare clients in the DC/Northern VA area.

As a Network Administrator for this project, you will be responsible upgrading and fixing the current infrastructure. Specifically working with APC UPS 2k and 5K, 120VAC/208VAC Transfer Switch, APC Management Card and PDUs. In the upcoming months, you will also be responsible for deploying new Switches and APCs.
Pay: negotiable based upon expeirence - paid weekly on W2
Schedule: overnight schedule, typicaly Sun-Thurs 11PM-4AM

Experience:
- Three or more years, minimum, of experience in an enterprise networking environment with both administration and problem resolution of enterprise Cisco equipment required.
- Two years, minimum, of experience working hands on with enterprise ticketing systems, network monitoring tools and packet capture tools.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP and other protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, spanning tree, DNS, DHCP and firewall policies.
- Candidate must have strong, demonstrable skills in following and appropriately applying established policies and procedures.
