Job Description:
This Lead Project Manager will be focused on defining tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition. Projects typically will last less than 12 months and under $1M.
Description:
- Full end-to-end control of activities, bringing alignment among different teams
- Manage and coordinate cross functional activities for the entire project;
- Keep change control of project spreadsheet, aligning on important dates and gates
- Keep close relationship with international teams, external partners, and senior leaders to guarantee timely accomplishment of activities;
- Work with project sponsors, and internal teams to define business requirements, and project scope.
- Manage change control against scope and its impacts to time, cost, and quality.
- Define project schedule, manages task assignments, tracks work against schedule
- Facilitate level of effort estimating and develops asset acquisition requirements; tracks and reports on actuals against forecast.
- Provide guidance and direction on project methodology and best practices using Converse standard project methodology; Defines and manages project success/delivery criteria and monitors and reports on the realization of project success against criteria set.
- Define risk management plan, analyzes risk for criticality, probability, and impact; Develops risk mitigation strategies, assigns owner and actions
Qualifications:
- 8 years of project management experience across complex project
- Highly proficient with project management methodologies
- XP w/ Smartsheets
- Experience in apparel, footwear and/or textile development industries
- Experience communicating and working with senior leaders
