Education Assistant - Title 1 Facilitator - $1000 Sign-On Bonus - Children's Home of Reading
The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Part-Time Title 1 Facilitator to help support our internal Education Programs. We have two private academies offering educational services for children who have behavioral issues, varied educational needs, an Individualized Education Plan, and are referred by their home school district. The academic school programs serve our residential clients as well as children who live in the surrounding communities where their needs cannot be met in a traditional school.
The Children’s Home of Reading is seeking a Part-Time Title 1 Facilitator to help support our internal Education Programs. The Title 1 Facilitator will work 20-25 hours per week and:
Conduct Reading and Math assessments and instructional pull-outs based on student needs.

- Track student growth and need data for reporting.
- Collaborate with Education Leadership on Title I progress in Reading and Math.
- Develop and maintain reports for the Education Leadership team on the effectiveness of the program, progress of student growth, ongoing student need, etc.

Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of experience in a classroom or similar setting.
- Background in Education (coursework and/or work experience) required, background in Special Education preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- The candidate must pass the required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment.
- The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required training.
