You will be responsible for delivering compassionate support, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, behaviors, and overall health.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting their independence.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support to residents and families, addressing any concerns.
- Educate residents and their families about care strategies and available resources.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance dementia care skills.
- Current LPN license in the state of Washington.
- Experience in a long-term care or dementia care setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of Alzheimer's and dementia-related behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing quality care.
- Must be able to pass background checks and meet health requirements.
- 9-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Days). Flexibility to work additional shifts if needed.
